Charlie Brumbly was born in Rock Falls, Illinois. He loved the arts and had formal dance training at
10. At 12, he and his family moved to Cincinati, Ohio to enroll in The School for Creative & Performing Arts.
He studied acting, dance, voice, instrumental music and music theatre.
His big chance came in the stage production of West Side Story where he was cast as Riff.
He traveled on the production's tour to Germany, France and Singapore. When the tour came to California, he decided to stay
and try Hollywood. Charlie garnered parts in Fame LA, Mad About You/NBC, Pacific Blue, Suddenly
Susan/NBC and Buffy the Vampire Slayer/WB.
He did commercials for Levi's, McDonalds, The Gap, Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company. Charlie
put his writing skills to work by writing a musical and has co-written a one-hour drama pilot. He plays at Blues and Folk
clubs.
