Reason For Becoming A Lifeguard: Donna was impressed with Mitch Buchannon and his being a lifeguard during
the day and his helping to run a detective agency during the evening hours with two other partners. She showed great
interest and decided that lifeguarding was what she wanted to do. She had observed Mitch at work on the beach and wanted
to be like him. She had finally found her calling.
Donna wanted to stay focused on her
goals. So, in order to do this, she sold her nightclub "NIGHTS" that she had bought not so long ago, and made
it to Rookie School. Donna's hard work had paid off. She finished first in her class.

out that Neely had had a hard pregnancy which was hidden from everyone. The pain to endure left Neely with an addiction
to prescription painkillers. After Donna and Mitch gave her help, Neely had to be content with being a lifeguard at the
"Sand and Sea Club," which served its wealthy members.
