-Went to Harvard. She studied Psychology. Her siblings also attended Ivy League Colleges.
-Left Harvard for the world of fashion. She became a model and loved it!
-Was told that she needed training as a model. Although Traci thought otherwise, she attended the John Cassablancas
Modeling School/Elite Models.
-Going to modeling school afforded her a chance to win top model as well as winning a modeling competition.
Here, she met Mrs. Eileen Ford from the prestigious Ford agency in New York.
-Considers herself to be somewhat of an exhibitionist.
-While she posed for magazines, calendars and did fitness modeling, she was discovered by Fredericks of Hollywood
to model for their lingerie. One of several Baywatch actors to model for the company.
-Was the first Black female to be cast on Baywatch in a regular role as well as to play a lifeguard.
-She described her audition for Baywatch Producers grueling. Not like any other she had ever been on. After
four call backs, a swim test, screen test and a wardrobe check.
-Traci found the true meaning of a wardrobe check that meant the producers gave her an old Pamela
Anderson red bathing suit to fit into. She found with relief that it did fit.
-Married longtime boyfriend Rob Vallier on August 29, 1998. They had a private ceremony. Traci had her Baywatch
co-stars serve as bridesmaids! Carmen Electra, Gena Lee Nolin, Marliece Andrada and Angelica Bridges.
-Divorced from musician Rob Vallier. Their marrage lasted from August 29, 1998-January 18, 2001.
-Is
engaged to John Edward Yarbrough.
